Interview Tips
Be yourself and respond truthfully, the interview panel want to hear about you and your ability to do the job you are applying for. Focus on your strengths and why your background makes you the best person for the job.
It’s a good idea to give examples of your previous jobs and experience. One of the best ways to make a good impression is to show that you can meet the requirements of the job by giving examples from your experience.
Making a good first impression is key, even if your interview is online, you should always attend an interview looking clean and tidy. And remember to smile.
Technical Tips
If you are on the call but the interview panel isn’t, please stay on the line but call the careers team on: 0126 821 8957
If the interview panel has not joined the video call within the first 5 minutes, they may be experiencing technical issue and will attempt to call your mobile phone – please check your mobile phone in this instance.
If the interview panel don’t join the online interview after 15 minutes and you haven’t heard from them by phone, please leave the call and notify the careers team by email or call immediately.
